¡Hola! I'm Marta Crespo, the creator of Smart Spanish Lab. I'm from the beautiful and vibrant city of Seville, in the south of Spain. (Yes, I know, I'm lucky!)

Teaching Spanish to international students is my passion, as is writing and translating!

I have a Master's in Language Teaching, specialising in Spanish Language and Literature, and I am certified by the Instituto Cervantes as a Spanish Teacher. I possess the British teaching qualification QTS, and I also hold the Cambridge English Proficiency (C2) certification.

Drawing on my extensive experience teaching and translating in various international schools (The Royal Ballet School, Ampleforth College, LAUDE San Pedro International College), both in Spain and the United Kingdom, I decided to create Smart Spanish Lab, a project where my experience and knowledge will directly benefit your learning and translating journey.
